Clay Press supporting newborns and their parents

Clay Press is really proud to support a wonderful organisation called Little Sprouts. Libby and her fantastic team put together boxes for newborns whose parents may not be able to afford such items - baby clothes, bottles, books, sleep sacks etc. In December we contributed 20 copies of 'Pukeko dancing on the Old Dirt Track' for their Christmas babies.
Yesterday Mia and I delivered one of these boxes for a special baby at the Anglican Trust for Women and Children in Otahuhu. ATWC provides housing and care for young mothers and their babies as well as a huge number of other support services. We met some of the people who run this organisation and were blown away by their dedication and generous spirit. Currently they are collecting raincoats for kids who otherwise might go to school wet and cold - if you have raincoats that you would like to donate then drop them off to me. I'll be collecting them throughout March to drop off to them in April.
